Ali Hasmut is a Chicago-based cityscape and landscape painter. whose work captures the energy, light, and mood of everyday streets and skyline scenes. Working primarily in oil on linen, he builds layered urban atmospheres, rain-soaked streets, reflections, people crossing streets. His palette often leans into blues and warm autumn accents balancing motion and stillness. Each piece invites the viewer to step into the scene, to remember their own city moments.

Bachelor degree from the Academy of Fine Arts , Baghdad university, Iraq in 1997.
